JKSH institute – Infospace Management to conduct ZED awareness program for MSMEs in Udupi

New Delhi, Jan 11 (KNN) In an attempt to facilitate knowledge regarding Zero Defect Zero Effect scheme among the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the region, Justice KS Hegde Institute of Management, in association with the Bengaluru-based Infospace Management Pvt Ltd, will conduct a one-day awareness programme on ZED (Zero Effect and Zero Defect).

The event is scheduled for 13 January 2018 at the institute premises at Nitte in Udupi. No registration fee is being charged for the program.

The ZED programme attempts to enhance manufacturing with adoption of Zero Defect production processes without impacting the environment (Zero Effect) and encourages MSMEs to constantly upgrade their quality standards in products and processes.

The ZED scheme was launched by the government in an attempt to develop an ecosystem for Zero Defect Manufacturing in MSMEs. It further aimed to promote adaptation of Quality tools/systems and Energy Efficient manufacturing.
