Maharashtra Cabinet approves electricity policy for the state

Mumbai, Feb 9 (KNN) The Maharashtra Cabinet has given nod to the Electronic policy for the state which includes special incentives to start new units and also for FAB projects in Vidarbha & Marathwada.

The state cabinet has also decided to amend Information Technology Enabled Services Policy 2015 by incorporating some of the suggestions by the Indian Merchant Chamber of Commerce of Industry, Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF),VFS Global Services, MCHI-CREDAI, Mill Owners Associations, the chief minister’s office said in a tweet.

CMO also tweeted that Maharashtra Cabinet decides to amend Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation Bill.

The State has decided to increase share capital from Rs 2000 crore Rs 10,000 crore to complete pending irrigation projects.

The Cabinet has also approved giving crop damage assistance of Rs 1012.4cr to cotton and soyabean producer (not covered under crop insurance scheme) for Kharif 2015. (KNN Bureau)
