MSME-DI to organize National Level Vendor Development Programme in Kolkata

Kolkata, Feb 10 (KNN) The Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises - Development Institute (MSME-DI), Kolkata will be organizing a National Level Vendor Development Programme cum buyers sellers meet with various Public Sector Units and government organizations.

MSME-DI will construct a MSME Pavilion within the 28th Industrial India Trade Fair (IITF) being organized by BNCC & I here from February 12-22, 2016.

During the programme, the PSUs/ Government Organizations will describe the Vendor registration procedure, the business scope/opportunities for SMEs for enlisting new Vendor registration.

The programme will also be attended by the senior officials of the PSUs who will interact with the exhibiting SMEs.

The scope of development of import substitute products will also be highlighted. In addition the Public Procurement Policy (PPP) – 2012 and various government schemes and policies will be discussed to bring awareness. 

MSME-DI is allotting the stalls to the MSEs at subsidized rates for participating at the IITF. (KNN Bureau)
