MSME-DI to provide CFCs for hoteliers of J&K

Srinagar, July 29 (KNN) To boost industrial development in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K), the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Development Institute (MSME-DI) will provide common facility centres (CFCs) for the hoteliers of the state.

A meeting in this regard was convened by Assistant Director, Ministry of MSME, Saheel Allaqband at Hotel Radisson, Srinagar, with the Hoteliers Club where many proposals were discussed for establishing Common Facility Centre like laundry facility, solar, etc.

According to media reports, MSME official was quoted as saying “The ministry was supporting MSEs of J&K through MSE-CDP Scheme by extending financial support up to 90 percent to an extent of Rs 15 crore through the creation of Common Facility Centres as per guidelines.

“Creation of common facility centres for MSEs both manufacturing and service enterprises can boost industrial development in the state,” he added.
