Bhuvaneshwar, Jan 14 (KNN) The eighth edition of Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) International Trade Fair has concluded.

The trade fair witnessed a participation of 350 MSMEs with 22 entrepreneurs from Iran and 10 members from Bangladesh. The women entrepreneurs have also participated in this event.

Seminars on different topics on food processing, agriculture were also organized where the experts shared their opinions on the opportunities and scope available with the state government for the entrepreneurs.

The successful entrepreneurs who displayed their products in the fair were awarded in various categories. NSIC’s Technology Park was the main attraction of the fair. About four lakh visitors witnessed the event and the fair has made the business to the tune of  3.5 crores.

UN Das, Additional Secretary, MSME Department, GoO, P K Jena, MDOSFC,  P C Sahani, MD, OSIC, S K Jena, DEPM, Miss Meena Behera, Addl. DI, S K Sahoo, Director, MSMI, DI, P C Nayak, G M, NSIC, Samarjeet Mohanty, President OSSIA, Satwik Swain, Secy. General, OASME, Sanjeev Mohapatra, UCCI were presided the closing ceremony.
