North East Business fest to be organized in B’lore to woo investors, start-ups

Bengaluru, May 4 (KNN) To showcase the huge potential that the North East has for the start-ups, a conference on “Connect North East: Start Up India & Stand Up India” is being organized in the city on May 14.

The conference is being organized by Bignning and Bio-Chemic Education Grant Commission in association with Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER).

The initiative aims to create awareness about the north east region in terms of its natural resources, human capital and business/economic opportunities that is unexplored so far.

“The purpose of this development and business fest is to promote Start Up India & Stand Up India and to encourage investment / development for North-Eastern Region. The Participation of the Industrialist would benefit the North-Eastern Region Development as well as the entrepreneur who invest in those areas,” Bignning said in a notification. 

Dr Jitendra Singh, DoNER Minister would be the Chief Guest at the event. Along with other Ministers from the state and the centre, the MSME associations would also be present at the event. (KNN Bureau)
