PHD CCI to hold Seminar for MSMEs in Uttarakhand, GST assistance on the agenda

New Delhi, Nov 10 (KNN) In order to assist the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state, the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing a daylong seminar on the newly implemented Goods and Services tax (GST) in the country.

The prime focus of the seminar is to attend to the concerns of the different sectors of the industry including the MSMEs and provide them with appropriate information to tackle the different complications under the new taxation.

The event is scheduled on 13th November at Hotel jasmine in SIIDCUl Haridwar.

Also Prakash Pant, Finance Minister of the state will preside over the event.

Key officials from the tax office including Sowjanya A, Commissioner Commercial tax, Amit Gupta, Jt. Commissioner GST, Pallav Saxena Asst. Commissioner GST are to facilitate the event.  Also Accountants and GST experts will attend the event to address the queries of the participating industry representatives.

The entry to the seminar is open only through prior registration that can be done via chambers website, an event invitation from the chamber informed.

The event comes as a response to the ongoing complications under the One Nation One Tax regime of the government with four months into the implementation.  

Also the Chamber recently held a seminar on the government schemes that are available for the Micro, Small and medium Enterprises sector in Jalandhar. (KNN/DA)
