PHD-CCI to organize convention on Rural Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Punjab

New Delhi, Apr 5 (KNN) With a view to encourage rural youth to take up entrepreneurship and promote innovation, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing Rural Entrepreneurship and Innovation-Convention & Exhibition in Patiala, Punjab on 10 April- 11 April 2018.

The Chief Minister of Punjab Capt. Amarinder Singh will inaugurate the event.

The aim of the program is to foster innovation and Entrepreneurship skills in the rural youth and to direct villages of Punjab on the path of development.

Further, the efforts have been made to highlight Communication Technology tools for scaling up business projects in the event.

The special emphasis will be given to women to encourage female entrepreneurship in Punjab.

Other objectives of the convention and exhibition are fostering entrepreneurial mindset of Punjab’s rural youth by providing information, coaching and mentoring on entrepreneurial activities, facilitating the access of rural entrepreneurs and startups to funding/incentives for the start‐up of their entrepreneurial activities.

Further, young entrepreneurs will get mentoring opportunities by the Incubators to foster innovation and encourage mobility into sectors with higher profit potential. (KNN/YV)
