Chandigarh, Sep 21 (KNN) Punjab Industry and Commerce Minister, Sunder Sham Arora has asked newly appointed chairman to exhort the youth of the state to start their own micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

He made the above remarks while chairing a meeting of the newly-appointed chairmen, vice-chairmen, directors concerned with districts and members of various boards and corporations.

On the ocassion, he said that Punjab is the first state in the country which has implemented industry friendly policy-2017 and provided scores of facilities for the new as well as the existing industries.

He further added that the Industry and Commerce Department is working as a team to ensure that the permissions sought regarding establishing new industrial units are accorded in time.
