Tripura CM urges bamboo artisans, entrepreneurs & cultivators to get their names registered with GeM

Agartala, June 26 (KNN) Tripura’s Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb requested all the Bamboo artisans, entrepreneurs and cultivators to get their names registered with Government e-Marketplace (GeM) so that they can avail better market opportunities.

While inaugurating a workshop on GeM, Deb hoped that the bamboo industry of the state will be developed with the help of GeM.

“Through GeM Tripura’s bamboo industry will get one stop portal to facilitate online procurement of bamboo handicrafts required by various government departments or PSUs. GeM aims to enhance transparency, efficiency and speed in public procurement”, he stated on his official twitter handle.

He tweeted “Had a fruitful discussion with industry experts on wide range of possibilities to make Tripura as the hub of Bamboo based industries. Also had discussions on implementation of GeM to boost the industry.”  (KNN/Lavannya)
