Udyog Vihar MSMEs appeal DHBVN to solve problems related to power bills in the region

Gurugram, Apr 29 (KNN) The micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) from Udyog Vihar area in Gurgaon have appealed the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitaran Nigam (DHBVN) to solve the problems related to generation of electricity bills in the region.

In a meeting with the senior officials from DHBVN, MSME members from Udyog Vihar region raised their complaints with regard to billing and meter reading.

As many as 40-50 entrepreneurs were present in the meeting and apprised the officials about their troubles, said Ashok Kohli, President of Chamber of Industries (COIN).

Speaking with KNN India, Kohli said “Major problems that have been creating challenges for the MSMEs in the region includes improper generation of bills and digging of the industrial area to lay underground cables.”

Highlighting the main challenge, he said, “Non delivery of bills, grant of limited time period for the payment of bills and other bills related problems troubling MSMEs in the region.”

Solar meter reading are either not taken regularly and are not being adjusted, he said is one the concerns among the others.

Besides this, he pointed that in an isolated case, a high voltage problem is also a matter of concern that has been raised in front the officials from DHBVN.

Meanwhile, Kohli applauded that the officials proactively solved the problems of many entrepreneurs on the spot.

For rest of the concerns, officials have promised to solve the problems within 15 days, he added.

He said “There are some issues which requires policy level changes and will be taken by the Chamber at the appropriate level.” (KNN/YV)
