UP to soon have a common application form for solving issues of MSME investors

Lucknow, Oct 4 (KNN) With an aim to improve ease of doing business environment in the state, Uttar Pradesh, which would go for polls next year, will soon have a common application form for solving the issues of micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) investors.

The UP Cabinet has decided to come up with a common application form for solving problems of MSME investors in the state.

Also, the investment facilities would be made available through a single window system to bring transparency in the system.
The information from registration to disposing the cases would be available online.

A committee, headed by the Chief Minister, will look into other issues related with the investments in MSME sectors.

In another decision, the Cabinet fixed the paddy procurement target and declared the minimum support price of paddy for 2016-2017.

Paddy will be procured through state and central agencies from October 1 till February 28. Support price of common paddy has been fixed at Rs 1,470 per quintal and Rs 1,510 per quintal for grade 'A' variety, the release said.

The working target for procurement has been fixed at 50 lakh metric tonnes.

To promote eco-tourism and environment conservation, the cabinet has decided to host an international cycle rally on the "cycle highway" being constructed between Agra and Lion Safari in Etawah. It will be an annual event which the forest department will organise.

To upgrade sports facilities in the state, the cabinet also decided to frame a policy for developing sports academies and sought involvement of sports federation and corporates in this.

It was decided that a monitoring committee under the chairmanship of principal secretary sports will be set up to frame the policy. (KNN Bureau)
