DRDO Conclave In Lucknow Focuses On MSME & Start-Up Collaboration
Lucknow, Sep 8 (KNN) The Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) Defence Technology and Test Centre (DTTC), Lucknow, hosted a conclave on September 6, 2025, at its Amausi campus to enhance collaboration with micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and start-ups.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor.
The event drew participation from over 100 representatives of MSMEs, start-ups, and Laghu Udyog Bharti.
Discussions centred on skill development, R&D funding, technical consultancy, and technology development and transfer opportunities offered by DRDO.
Inaugurating the conclave, DRDO Chairman highlighted DTTC as an initiative conceived by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, now contributing significantly to industry linkages.
He underlined DRDO’s industry-centric policies and encouraged MSMEs to actively pursue defence R&D, assuring institutional support to help realise the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat and contribute to a developed India by 2047.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh commended DRDO and MSMEs for organising the conclave, acknowledging the sector’s role in advancing India’s self-reliance agenda.
