Earlier, the Air Pollution Management Commission had banned the use of coal, wood and oil and allowed the use of only PNG or biofuel. The work of laying lines for the supply of PNG is also going on in all the industrial areas of the district.

Kiranpal Panchal, president of the Anand Industrial Area Association, said that the PNG line in the area has been laid, but the supply of gas has not started completely.

“For the supply of PNG, the entrepreneurs had prepared infrastructure by spending lakhs of rupees, but it is not benefiting, it is definitely causing loss. Now the new directive of the Air Pollution Management Commission has created a crisis on the entrepreneurs,” he said.

“Where in industries low capacity generators of 100 KVA are used. Here, in case of power failure, generators are used for construction, lathe machines and drilling machines for parts. Now these industries are facing crisis,” he added.

Regional Manager of Pollution Control Board, Utsav Sharma says that the new circular of the Air Pollution Management Commission has been sent to all industrial units. Entrepreneurs have been asked to run single fuel system consisting of DG sets 70 percent gas and 30 percent diesel. If someone is caught violating this, then his report will be prepared and sent to the commission.  (KNN Bureau)
