MotoGP India 2023 in Buddha Circuit to give a fillip to UP’s ODOP programme

Noida, July 10 (KNN) The Uttar Pradesh government is all set to host the ‘MotoGP India 2023’ event from September 22 to 24 at Buddha International Circuit in Greater Noida.

During the event, ODOP stalls will be set up at the venue with an aim to benefit the local economy.

Uttar Pradesh’s branding will be prominently displayed on the sides of the race track of BIC, ensuring widespread visibility. Distinguished guests, including national and international media, will be introduced to the One District One Product, according to a report in the pioneer.

As per reports, the state government is expecting to generate a revenue of Rs 954 crore from the grand event, while also creating employment opportunities for approximately 4,932 individuals.

‘MotoGP India will witness participation of 116 bikers from 45 teams.

The Yogi government is aiming to set a world record by hosting the MotoGP India 2023, with the event being broadcast through live streaming in 195 countries and around 450 million people are expected to watch the event. Through this event, Uttar Pradesh will get the opportunity to show the world its incredible transformation over the past six years.
 
The Yogi government has started an action plan for the wide publicity of the bike race event overseas through a short video based on Uttar Pradesh on the race weekend. 

Exhibitions will be held in different states of the country as well as in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Cochin, Visakhapatnam, Coimbatore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Jaipur to advertise the event while in Noida and Delhi it will be done by running e-buses with UP government and MotoGP logo on it.
