PM Vishwakarma Artisans Get Branding, AI And Digital Marketing Training In Barabanki
Lucknow, Sept 7 (KNN) More than 100 PM Vishwakarma artisans and craftspeople in Barabanki were trained in artificial intelligence (AI), product branding and digital marketing, with 23 beneficiaries also onboarded onto the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to help expand their access to online markets.
The training focused on helping traditional artisans improve product visibility, strengthen branding and explore digital platforms to reach a wider customer base.
Participants were also briefed on business management, loan procedures and benefits available under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme and various state government initiatives.
Focus On AI And Digital Market Access
Hrithik Raj Srivastava and Utpal Pandey demonstrated how AI tools can be used to support product branding and marketing, while Sanjay Bharti guided artisans on effective branding strategies and ways to market and sell their products more successfully.
Mukesh Sharma facilitated the onboarding of 23 PM Vishwakarma beneficiaries onto ONDC, enabling them to access online markets and expand their digital presence.
Ankita Pandey, Young Professional, MSME-Development Office, Kanpur, explained the procedure for beneficiaries to receive the next instalment of their scheme-linked loans.
Entrepreneur Amaresh Kumar also briefed participants on key aspects of running a business.
Artisans Briefed On Scheme Benefits
Barabanki Assistant Commissioner of Industries, Ruby Jamshed explained the benefits of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme and various state government schemes.
Shoaib Ansari, representing the District Manager of Bank of India, Barabanki, explained loan-related procedures, challenges faced by beneficiaries in obtaining credit and possible solutions.
Government Polytechnic, Somaiya Nagar Principal Rakhi Saini urged artisans to make effective use of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, become self-reliant and connect their products with online markets.
The beneficiaries included doll and toy makers, goldsmiths, blacksmiths, carpenters, cobblers, washermen, barbers and tailors, among other traditional artisans and craftspeople.
Programme Held In Barabanki
The one-day branding and marketing awareness programme was held on September 3 at Government Polytechnic, Somaiya Nagar, Barabanki.
It was organised by the MSME-Development Office, Kanpur, under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India.
Avinash Kumar Apoorv, Assistant Director, MSME-Development Office, Kanpur, welcomed the participants and outlined the objectives of the programme and key aspects of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mukesh Srivastava, lecturer at Government Polytechnic, Barabanki.
