UP govt bags Rs 7,000 cr investment deal with industrialists in Kolkata
Kolkata, Jan 18 (KNN) Advancing towards Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit, the state government has signed Rs 7,000 crore worth Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with industrialists and entrepreneurs in Kolkata.
As per the state government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the investment will provide employment opportunities for 14,000 youths of Uttar Pradesh.
The agreements were signed in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, Labor and Employment Minister Anil Rajbhar, Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh and Minister of State for IT Ajit Pal Singh among others.
CM Yogi virtually in a video message invited the investors to attend the Global Investors Summit to be held in Lucknow in February.
He further said that even during the COVID pandemic the state attracted investment of Rs 4 lakh crore.
“This reflected the trust that the state has been able to build among investors in recent times with better law and order and infrastructure in the state,” he said. (KNN Bureau)
