Lucknow, Apr 28 (KNN) The Uttar Pradesh government has so far chosen 150 youths fr0m the rural belt and have been asked to come up with ideas for a startup. 

They have been selected by the youth welfare department, reported TOI. 

The state government has further decided to connect these youths with prestigious institutes like IIM-Lucknow and AKTU to polish their ideas.

These youths would present their ideas before experts fr0m IIM-L and AKTU, who will provide them training and tips.

IIM-L has also shown interest in setting up an incubation centre where the rural youths can come up with their ideas. 

The centre is proposed to come up at the youth welfare department office. 

Around 10,000 square feet area has been earmarked for the purpose. 

The department is waiting for a proposal in this regard fr0m IIM-L, said Navneet Sehgal, ACS sports and youth welfare.   (KNN Bureau)
