UP Unveils 27 Integrated Manufacturing & Logistics Clusters Along Expressways
Lucknow, July 4 (KNN) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday launched 27 Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Clusters (IMLCs) across the state.
Strategically located along expressways developed by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA).
Spanning a combined land bank of over 10,000 acres, the IMLCs are expected to attract investments exceeding Rs 2 lakh crore.
Some clusters, such as the one in Unnao, have already reached full allotment and mobilised investments worth over USD 1 billion, signalling strong investor confidence.
The initiative, described by the Chief Minister as a major milestone, is aimed at positioning Uttar Pradesh as a key driver of India’s economic growth.
"The double-engine government has played a significant role in establishing Uttar Pradesh as an expressway state over the last eight years. It has also succeeded in establishing Uttar Pradesh as a great destination for investment, " the CM added.
