Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2019 with theme ‘Shaping a New India’ to connect youth, traders, MSMEs

New Delhi, Aug 11 (KNN) Reiterating the state’s commitment to the country’s development, Chief Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani said that the Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2019 would be held on the theme ‘Shaping a New India’.

Chairing the first meeting of the advisory committee of Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2019, Rupani said that the Summit would connect youths, small traders and MSMEs, in addition to giving a boost to service sector, manufacturing, business and trading activity. 

The Summit which is slated to take place in Gandhinagar from January 18 to 20 would showcase diamond, manufacturing, SEZ and other important sectors including pharma and medical facilities to promote medical tourism and healthcare.

“Looking at the enthusiasm among youths and young entrepreneurs, we have decided to hold Youth Connect Forums in Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot. Young achievers and successful entrepreneurs will interact with youths at these forums,” Rupani told the committee members.

The CM also told the committee that the biennial Summit has become Gujarat’s identity, and the state government is working closely with the central government, embassies of various countries, and trade and industry organizations to showcase Gujarat.
