Kolkata, Mar 1 (KNN) The West Bengal government has launched an application (app), ‘Silpa Disha’ to enable communication between MSMEs and the State Government. The app is run by the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and Textiles (MSME&T) Department.

This app enables MSMEs to submit grievances to MSME&T Department and Directorate, Government of West Bengal and track its status with the Docket Number. Users and MSME&T Department/Directorate can also communicate with each other with this app.

Grievances related to land, power, infrastructure, pollution certification and several more aspects can be submitted through Silpa Disha. Through this app, the issues are submitted to the department and the MSME Directorate.

The app has been launched with an aim to solve industry related problems and issues promptly.

As many as 100 questions, mostly related to land, have come through this app from across the State, which officials of the department and directorate have answered through the app.

As of now, questions are answered during working hours. However, soon officials would be appointed for a 24-hour query-solving system. (KNN/YV)
