WBIDC to visit different countries from May to June to meet potential investors

Kolkata, May 12 (KNN) West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC) will be visiting different countries including Australia, Japan, Germany etc to meet potential investors.

The schedule till next November has already been decided. In May, WBIDC will visit Australia (Melbourne), Portugal (Lisbon), Germany (Munich); in June in it visit Japan, Switzerland, South Africa
followed by many other countries till November.

The WBIDC is going to write monthly reports on the progress made and present it to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

The reports would contain the progress made in drawing in investments to Bengal, including the amount of investments made.

Every month, State Government representatives would hold meetings with industry bodies and potential investors of three countries to impress on them the industry-friendly climate of Bengal and the presence of all manner of infrastructural facilities.
