Kolkata, Feb 8 (KNN) The Confederation of West Bengal Trade Association (CWBTA) in partnership with the state government of West Bengal will host the Bengal Global Trade Expo 2022 during the Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) 2022 to help MSMEs, traders and manufacturers to connect as well as interact with other various stakeholders.

It will be a five day programme from 20th to 24th April which will include an exhibition centre wherein manufacturers and traders can showcase their products.

CWBTA President Sushil Poddar is expecting the BGBS campaign and it’s influence in the industries will help attract investors and setting up of new units in the state.

He feels that the 5th BGBS  taking place after a gap of 2 years will support the MSME sector in their recovery.

Traders from about 70 trade associations are expected to attend the event along with foreign trade delegations.

For participation and investment purpose, CWBTA will approach trade associations and business chambers and network with the consulates/high commissions of neighbouring countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Taiwan, Thailand, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Afghanistan and others. (KNN Bureau)
