Kalraj Mishra to flag off MSME Sammelan in Haryana

New Delhi, May 26 (KNN) The Haryana Government has invited the Union Minister for Micro, Medium and Small Enterprise (MSME) Kalraj Mishra for the scheduled MSME Sammelan on 30th of May in the state of Haryana.
The MSME Sammelan is expected to be on the lines of innovation in the MSME sector. The Sammelan is likely to feature exhibition of various achievements and advancements by the industrial units in Haryana.
The MSME Sammelan is being organized under the theme “Small is the new big”.
Earlier, Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar in a press interview reiterated the need to expand the MSME sector in the country. He spoke of the contribution by the sector in the country’s GDP.
He acknowledged that significance of the MSME units in extending employment opportunities and supporting the big industrial units.
The Chief Minister also termed Haryana as a favourable destination for entrepreneurs stating the existence of an entrepreneur-friendly ecosystem in the state.
The Chief Minister earlier reached out to the Centre seeking assistance in providing credit worth 1,000 Crore rupees to the MSMEs with an aim to boost the sector. Under the State-Center Collaboration, there are plans to extend credit to the MSME sector without collateral security. (KNN/ DA)
