FISME And GAME To Host High-Level Roundtable On MSME Financing In New Delhi

New Delhi, Sep 20 (KNN) The Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) and the Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME), in collaboration with regional MSME bodies, have orchestrated a high-level roundtable discussion in New Delhi, on September 20, 2024.

This roundtable discussion marks an important step toward tackling the persistent challenge of financing for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

S.C.L. Das, Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, will preside over the discussions, underscoring the government's commitment to addressing the financial hurdles faced by MSMEs.

The event will also feature a special presentation by Ateesh Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers' Issues department within the Ministry of MSME.

The roundtable's agenda is comprehensive, focusing on critical issues such as delayed payments and access to finance for MSMEs.

It will commence with opening remarks, followed by insights from GAME on their work related to delayed payments and findings from previous regional roundtables.

Two main discussion sessions will address the delay in receivables and MSME access to finance, respectively.
