FISME, CIAJ To Host Awareness Webinar On MSME Amendment Bill 2026
New Delhi, Jul 30 (KNN) The Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME), in collaboration with the Centre for Improving Access to Justice (CIAJ), will organise an awareness webinar on July 31 on the recently introduced Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
The initiative aims to help stakeholders understand the key provisions, objectives, and potential impact of the proposed amendments on the MSME sector.
Context and Purpose
The MSME ecosystem has seen significant changes in recent years due to technological advancements, digitalisation, and evolving regulatory frameworks. These developments have prompted the need to update the existing MSME Development Act, 2006 to better support business growth and competitiveness.
The Amendment Bill, introduced in Parliament on 28 July 2026, seeks to address these emerging requirements.
FISME and CIAJ encourage MSME stakeholders, industry participants, and interested individuals to register and attend the session to gain insights into the proposed legislation and its implications for the sector.
