Bharat Tex 2026 to Strengthen Global Textile Trade and Investment in New Delhi

New Delhi, Jul 13 (KNN) India will host the third edition of Bharat Tex 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from July 14 to 17, bringing together stakeholders from across the textile value chain to promote trade, investment, technology and international business collaboration.

The event, organised by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation with support from the Ministry of Textiles, will be inaugurated by Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh on July 14. 

Minister of State for Textiles Pabitra Margherita, Textile Secretary Neelam Shami Rao, senior government officials, industry representatives and international delegates are also expected to attend.

According to the organisers, the exhibition will feature more than 1,600 exhibitors, over 7,000 buyers, 1.3 lakh trade visitors and over 20,000 textile products across 1.6 million square feet of exhibition space, covering sectors ranging from fibre and yarn to apparel, home textiles, technical textiles and textile machinery.

The event will include participation from eight partner states and nine exhibiting states, alongside international exhibitors from 14 countries. Business and government delegations from more than 20 countries are also expected to participate.

Bharat Tex 2026 is expected to facilitate over 4,000 business-to-business (B2B) meetings, more than 100 business-to-government (B2G) meetings, and the signing of over 30 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) across trade, investment, technology, sustainability and market access.

The four-day programme will also feature more than 100 knowledge sessions, including panel discussions, roundtables, masterclasses and state sessions on trade, sustainability, technical textiles, innovation and global sourcing. 

The event will additionally host the CITI Textile Sustainability Awards 2026.

Digital platforms, including a mobile application and pre-fair directory, will support exhibitor discovery, buyer-seller matchmaking, meeting scheduling and event navigation throughout the exhibition.
