CAIT organizing conference for empowerment of small biz on Oct 6; Sitharaman to be the Chief Guest

New Delhi, Sep 26 (KNN) With an endeavour to engage with the policy makers for better policy infrastructure for MSMEs, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) is organizing an interactive conference for empowerment of non-corporate sector on October 6 in the national capital. Commerce & Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman would be the chief guest at the event.

“With the introduction of GST, there will be considerable change in existing business format of all sectors of economy. Beside GST, the Government is largely focussing on less cash economy & financial inclusion as well and all these crucial subjects being inter with each will have greater ramifications on non-corporate sector of the country,” Praveen Khandelwal, National Secretary General, CAIT has said.

Experts from different sectors like industry, banking, financial institutions, industry bodies and more are taking part in the conference.

“The programme aims to understand the views of the experts on necessary interventions required for the self-organized sector to be able to accept and adopt these today’s age technology tools,” Khandelwal said.

The conference will empower the non-corporate sector with emerging and new age tool of technology such as digital payments, e-commerce, social media and other related software technologies. (KNN Bureau)
