Chase India organizing a session on ‘Future of Fintech’ on Dec 12

New Delhi, Nov 27 (KNN) Chase India, an integral part of the India-UK Tech Partnership, is organizing a session on ‘Future of Fintech’ on December 12, 2018.

The session is a part of India-UK Future Tech Fest, a summit of thoughtful leaders that bringing together businessmen and women, policy makers, venture capitalists, scientists and entrepreneurs on a  single platform to share ideas and opportunities pertaining to fintech revolution.

With this objective, the session would focus on opportunities and challenges from fintech solutions in India financial services market.

Also, the session would highlight the importance of leveraging fintech in critical sectors of the economy like financing of MSMEs, affordable housing, delivery of e-services to vulnerable sections, financial inclusion, provision of land record management etc.

Besides, the other focus areas include developing regulatory interventions to enhance the role of fintech in the sectors identified for focused Interventions; promoting ease of doing business in the fintech sector and areas of international cooperation opportunities in Fintech space with UK.

The governments of UK and India are strongly committed to both expanding and strengthening technology partnerships involving industry, governmental agencies, science and research institutions, and fostering trade and investment opportunities in both countries.

With regard to expanding bilateral ties in the field of technology, in April 2018 Prime Ministers May and Modi announced the formal creation of the India-UK Tech Partnership.

As part of this collaboration, the India- UK Future Tech Festival is a major initiative that delivers thought-leadership, roundtable discussions.

It will also provide opportunities for collaboration at national and regional level in AI/ Data, India UK Tech Hubs, Cluster Partnerships, Future Healthcare, Future Mobility.

The session on “Future of Fintech” would take place on December 12, 2018 from 11 am at Emily Eden, Hotel Imperial, New Delhi.

Key speakers for the session are K Rajaraman, Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Pankaj Jain, Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Renuka Sane, Associate Professor, National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP), Bipin Preet Singh, Founder CEO & Director, MobiKwik, Suniti Nanda , Fintech Officer, Government of Maharashtra and Alok Mittal, MD & CEO, Indifi.
