Chennai, Feb 21 (KNN) Dissemination Workshop on ‘Application of Smart Technologies’ is being organized here on Monday to enable Micro, Small and Medium  Enterprises (MSMEs) embrace Smart Manufacturing.

The workshop is being organized by the National Productivity Council with the support of Asian Productivity Organization (APO), Tokyo, on February 25, 2019 at Dr Ambedkar Institute of Productivity.

This event will help MSMEs to apply real-time decision making and digitize to raise manufacturing quality, reduce costs, and inspire others to undertake similar efforts.

Further, it will embrace Smart Manufacturing in MSMEs to stay ahead of the competition.

This workshop aims at presenting the results of Demonstration project conducted at Vibgyor Automotive Private Limited, a progressive MSME unit.

Director General of National Productivity Council, Dr Amita Prasad will be the Chief Guest at the event. After inaugurating the workshop, he will release project manual and dissemination video during the workshop.

Regional Director of NPC Chennai, KVR Raju and Director (EM), R Suryanarayanan will also be present at the event.

APO Expert, Dr Ananth Seshan; Member of Fifth Generation Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Deepak Varma and Member of Vibgyor Automotive Pvt. Ltd., P Harish are some other speakers of the workshop. (KNN/JM)
