FIEO, DGFT jointly organizes Niryat Bandhu program to educate local exporters in Goa

New Delhi, Dec 28 (KNN) To educate new entrepreneurs and exporters about various initiative of government, the Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO) and the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Bangalore jointly organized a ‘Niryat Bandhu program’ for local exporters in Goa.

The outreach program was aimed at educating new entrepreneurs and exporters about the various initiative and facilities available for exporters, funding options available for exports, facilities from various supporting organizations, IGST refund, and export credit risk.

The program was conducted by Deputy Director of DGFT, Ramesh Holeyachi, and Deputy Director, FIEO, Dhananjay Sharma, along with Deputy General Manager of SBI, Suyash Asthana.

During the program, Asthana appealed to exporters to avail the benefits of the various government schemes. 

Whereas, Holeyachi through power-point presentation explained the export procedures, financial assistance and schemes to exporters.

He pointed out that, MSMEs play an important role in driving exports with 40 per cent of the country’s exports coming from the sector.
