National Career Service signs MoUs with 11 strategic partners
New Delhi, Aug 24 (KNN) In its endeavour to improve reach and quality of employment services, the National Career Service (NCS) signed Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with eleven strategic partners in presence of Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya. These partners are HT Shine, Amity University, Association Skill Training Providers (ASTP), Urban Clap, Merajob, Portea, Freshers World, Wheebox, First Job and Delivery Track.
Speaking on the occasion, Dattatreya said the Government is committed to provide more employment opportunities and signing of these MoUs is a step in this direction.
“In addition to linking all the employment exchanges on a national platform, the government is also partnering with leading industry players to develop a wide base of career related services for the youth,” he said adding that NCS portal is going play vital role by addressing the gaps in job market.
Earlier, the National Career Service has partnered with leading organisations like Monster.com, Uber, Saral Rozgar, Quikrjobs, Indian Staffing Federation etc for enhancing quality and reach of employment services through the NCS network.
The Principal Labour and Economic Advisor, P.P. Mitra, said, “The Ministry of labour and Employment has leveraged technology in EPFO, ESIC and the NCS to assist employees and industry to avail benefits under various schemes in a seamless and transparent manner. These technology reforms will play a crucial role in making local and global opportunities available and accessible to youth so that they join the globally competitive workforce.” (KNN Bureau)
