YEIDA attract private companies to set up aircraft parts and machinery manufacturing units

Noida, Feb 22 (KNN) The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is planning to allot plots to private companies for establishing aircraft parts and machinery manufacturing units in the area. 

The civil aviation cluster is being planned on 500 acres in Sector 10 of the YEIDA area.

Approximately 250 plots, each measuring 2 acres or more  will be allotted to companies in June, 2022.

Companies involved in making aircraft parts and machinery will be allotted with the plots. 

It is also likely that a centre for maintenance and repair purpose will be set up.

This project has gained the attention and interest of many foreign companies such as Boeing, GE Digital, Honeywell and L-3 Harris.

An investment upto Rs 80,000 crore is expected from the aviation cluster scheme along with job opportunities for nearly 10,000 people. (KNN Bureau)
