New Delhi, Dec 23 (KNN) Eyeing at handholding the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with regard to the different nuances of inventory management, the Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) in association with Margdarshak, Clusterkraft and SIDBI recently organized a training program in Ludhiana.

The three day training program was themed as Inventory Management & Production Scheduling.

The main motive of the workshop was to equip the micro, small and medium enterprises of the region with appropriate knowledge in order to face the larger global competition.

Dedicated sessions on various topics including inventory management, clean socks experiment, warehouse optimization, material handling control and standard operating procedures were covered during the training program.

Also sessions in task management, resource utilization, virtual warehousing and activity based pricing were a part of the three day workshop.

Representatives of over 40 micro, small and medium enterprises from across different sectors including auto components, fasteners, textile, bicycle parts and agriculture were a part of the program. (KNN/ DA)
