Indian Chamber of Commerce organizes Odisha MSME Summit 2018

New Delhi, Apr 23 (KNN) In a bid to facilitate awareness among the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the region with regard to the various schemes and programs, the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) organized Odisha MSME Summit 2018 recently.

Over 80 delegates from food processing units, PVC pipe manufacturers, PSUs, banks and financial institutions, large industries like steel and aluminium manufacturers, industrial equipment manufacturers and several NGOs attended the meet.

SBI CGM Praveen Kala, Industries Department Additional Director SK Hota and Tata Steel resident executive AP Mohanty were invited as a guest in the summit.

During the summit, SBI CGM Praveen Kala informed the participating MSMEs of the various financial facilities being offered by the bank.

Kala also spoke of the schemes under which the MSMEs and Startups can absorb benefits.

Further, she spoke about the loans and eligibility criteria for loans under Central Governments’ Mudra loan schemes.

Speaking at the Occasion, Hota informed the audience about the new policies and programs for the SMEs and schemes under the GO-Swift program of the state government to facilitate the SMEs and to encourage
