ALEAP to setup Women Entrepreneurs International Trade and Technology Centre in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Apr 29 (KNN) The Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India (ALEAP) has decided to set up Women Entrepreneurs International Trade and Technology Centre (WE-ITTC) at Nandigama in Patancheru of Sangareddy.

Telangana IT minister KT Rama Rao laid the foundation stone for the centre at A-GRIP (ALEAP Green Industrial Park) on Friday.

As per report, WE-ITTC, has been sanctioned under the MSE CDP scheme with support from the Union MSME ministry as well as state government.

It promotes trade and technology among women entrepreneurs from India, SAARC as well as ASEAN countries.

Addressing the occasion, KTR said “Being an entrepreneur has lot of possibilities in Telangana, given its business policies, infrastructure and support to really build world-class products.”

“ALEAP with its innovative avenues is definitely a great contributor,” he said.

D Chandra Sekhar, additional development commissioner, MSME Development and Facilitation Office (MSME-DFO), Union MSME ministry, said, “Telangana is the only state to have such a marketing hub. WE-ITTC has the potential to emerge into a one-stop-shop for all women entrepreneurs.”

ALEAP president Rama Devi Kanneganti said, “Our vision is to make the ‘Make in India’ campaign a real possibility and take this revolution to rural women by giving them digital training.”   (KNN Bureau)
