Hyderabad, May 28 (KNN) Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu launched the Telangana MSME Greening Portal and MSME Assessment Toolkit aimed at supporting sustainable industrial transformation among micro, small and medium enterprises in the state.

The portal and toolkit form part of the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) initiative of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, implemented with financial assistance from the World Bank.

Government Focuses On Cleaner Technologies & Resource Efficiency
According to the state government, the digital platform has been developed as a single-point interface for MSMEs across Telangana to access information related to the RAMP programme and facilitate their participation in various scheme components.

The announcements were made at the ‘Telangana MSME Greening Summit- A RAMP Initiative to Accelerate Sustainable Industrial Growth’ organised in Hyderabad.

The summit was jointly organised by Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad, an innovation ecosystem enabler under Telangana’s Department of Industries and Commerce, and the Hyderabad Science and Technology Cluster.

The event brought together policymakers, government officials, MSMEs, industry associations, financial institutions, startups, technology providers and ecosystem stakeholders to discuss strategies for promoting sustainable industrial growth in the MSME sector.
