Jeedimetla pharma cluster to have Technology & Training centre for skill up-gradation

Hyderabad, Mar 3 (KNN) A Technology and Training Center for skill up-gradation is being set up by the Bulk Drug Manufacturers Association (BDMA) at a pharma cluster in Jeedimetla, Telangana.
The proposed facility is coming up on a one acre land and it will be operational from April, an official press release said.
As per reports, the training centre will serve as a centralized location for high-end research and testing.
Speaking about the upcoming centre, BDMA National President, R K Agrawal said, “The training centre is aimed at providing specific training to manpower engaged in the manufacturing operations and quality control in Indian Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) industry.
“Training will be given to fresh graduates making them suitable for bulk drug industry where member units can train their new recruits,” he said.
The upcoming training centre in Jeedimetla, is one of its kind in the country where an industry association is establishing such a facility for the employees of their industry. (KNN Bureau)
