TASK to help Telangana students become job-ready for industry

Hyderabad, July 18 (KNN) The Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) under the state government has inked an MoU with multiple organisations to train students to make them job-ready for the industries.

As per reports, TASK has signed agreements with ICICI Foundation, Tata Strive, Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CoE), CareerPedia, Edunet Foundation, Mahindra University and Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages (HCCB).

The MoUs were signed during an event held by TASK to observe World Youth Skills Day 2024.

Speaking on the occasion, Chamakura Malla Reddy, Minister for Labour, Employment and Factories said, “Today’s youth must develop an innovative and entrepreneurial mind-set for success. For this, enhancing skills will be helpful. With the skilling ecosystem present in Telangana, the rural students are able to enhance their employability prospects by improving their skills.”

Lauding the TASK’s initiative, the Minister said that over the last nine years TASK has skilled over 8.37 lakh students, working with over 80 corporate partners offering more than 110 programmes across 700 colleges. Last year, TASK placed over 30,000 local youth with leading companies across Telangana.

Key persons present at the event included Telangana Youth Services Minister V Srinivas Goud, MP Gaddam Ranjit Reddy,  Gareth Wynn Owen, British Deputy High Commissioner to Telangana, Rani Kumudini, Special Chief Secretary - Labour, Govt of Telangana;, V Karuna, Secretary – Education and many more.  (KNN Bureau)
