Hyderabad, May 4 (KNN) Telangana IT minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday extended an invitation to the Swedish companies to invest in technology and manufacturing sectors of the state.

During a meeting with Sweden’s ambassador to Indian Jan Thesleff, Rao highlighted how Telangana has emerged as the best investment destination in India. He also assured complete support for Swedish companies who are willing to invest in the state.

The Swedish envoy, who is leading a delegation from the Scandinavian nation to Telangana, said their embassy regularly researches investment opportunities in Telangana and extends support to Swedish companies.

“Sweden has formed an investment facilitation mechanism to work with Swedish companies willing to invest in India and is looking at bringing in more investments into Telangana, Thesleff informed the IT minister.

The delegation appreciated the state government’s industry-friendly policies and made a special mention of the infrastructure created in the city in the past eight years, an official press release said.  (KNN Bureau)
