Piyush Goyal Meets European Business Leaders to Strengthen India-EU Industrial Partnerships, Trade & Technology Cooperation

New Delhi, Jul 16 (KNN) Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal held a series of meetings with European industry leaders and business representatives in Brussels on July 14–15 alongside the India–EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) Ministerial, focusing on industrial cooperation, trade and technology partnerships.

On July 14, Goyal met Alain Queverin, CEO of Thales Belgium, to discuss industrial cooperation and technology partnerships. He also held talks with Jean Christophe Bogaert, Managing Director of Silox Group, on expanding bilateral trade and industrial collaboration.

On July 15, Goyal, along with the External Affairs Minister and the Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, participated in a business roundtable hosted by the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium (FEB). 

The discussions covered trade facilitation, investment, supply chain resilience and digital innovation, with participation from Indian and European industry representatives.

The Minister also met members of the FICCI delegation, who discussed issues related to business competitiveness, regulatory challenges and opportunities under the India–EU TTC framework.

The engagements formed part of India's industry outreach during the India–EU TTC Ministerial and focused on strengthening industrial partnerships, promoting innovation and enhancing economic cooperation between India and the European Union.
