MSME Ministry Announces IITF 2026 Framework, Offers MSEs Access To Global Buyers

New Delhi, Aug 24 (KNN) The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has announced the participation framework for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2026, to be held under the theme ‘MSME – Vikas Bhi, Virasat Bhi’.

The trade fair will bring together exhibitors from Indian states and Union Territories along with international participants, showcasing products across sectors including handicrafts, textiles, electronics, automobiles, machinery and processed food.

MSMEs to Get Access to Global Buyers

IITF provides MSMEs with opportunities to access international buyers, buying houses and trade bodies, while dedicated business days facilitate business-to-business (B2B) networking for bulk orders, supply-chain partnerships and distribution arrangements.

The Ministry of MSME and state export promotion bodies will provide financial support towards stall rentals, while dedicated MSME and Khadi and Village Industries pavilions are intended to provide participating enterprises with greater visibility.

Platform for Market Feedback and Brand Visibility

The fair will also offer MSMEs an opportunity to obtain direct consumer feedback, assess market demand and pricing trends, and strengthen brand visibility by exhibiting alongside domestic and international businesses at Bharat Mandapam.

Technical sessions, seminars and workshops held alongside the fair are expected to provide MSMEs exposure to international packaging and exhibition practices, emerging technologies, digital transformation, credit access and export documentation.

Udyam Registration Mandatory for Participation

Under the eligibility criteria, only Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) with a valid Udyam Registration as of August 31, 2026, will be eligible to apply under the Procurement and Marketing Support Scheme.

The ministry said no modifications to Udyam Registration details will be permitted after August 31.

The application portal will remain open from September 1 to September 20, 2026.
