Baddi Trade centre to be run by Industries and Development Authority

Baddi, May 20 (KNN) With the governing body of the Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh (BBN) Development Authority refusing to operate the newly constructed Baddi Trade Centre, the ball is again in the court of the various industry associations to operate it.
However, talking to KNN, the President of Baddi Barootiwala Nalagarh Industries Association (BBNIA), Shailesh Aggarwal said that we have discussed the matter with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the authority and started modality to run it along with the Government.
He cleared that nobody was denying to run the centre and now are discussing its working model.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the authority called a meeting of various industry associations, including BBN Industries, Himachal Drug Manufacturers, Nalagarh Industries, CII, etc., to chalk out modalities of operating this centre.
Government established a trade centre for the development of the area, said the President adding that industries are already running the skill development centres, Baddi Infrastructure, Shivalik Solid waste etc.
“Government initially asked us to run it," he added.
He revealed that Himachal Government wanted the involvement of industries too.
The centre has various facilities like a club house, multi-purpose conference halls, billiards table, restaurant-cum-bar, rooms, gymnasium, etc. (KNN Bureau)
