Rohtak, Mar 3 (KNN) The MSMEs in Haryana feel that the upcoming Global Investors Summit will be hit badly because of the messages of distress and losses due to the Jat agitation that have been doing rounds in the media globally.

The MSMEs in Haryana and Punjab suffered such huge losses which are presently beyond assessment mainly because more than the direct impact, it has made an indirect impact to the industry.

The industries in Rohtak and other cities of Punjab and Hrayana were shut for many days and suffered both direct and indirect losses, said industrialists from Rohtak.

Talking to KNN, the President of Fasteners Manufacturers Association, Rajender Bansal said, “We have suffered indirect losses which the state government is not considering.”

“Our factories should have been set on fire, so that we could get the claim of it rather not getting anything,” he added.

He said no investment would come during the upcoming Haryana Investment Summit which is set to start on March 7, 2016 in Gurgaon.

He said apart from no investments coming from outside, even the companies which are already set up in the state are making up their minds to move out.

“We have approached Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar many times but he has no time to meet us,” he alleged adding that the state government is running behind the new industries and neglecting old ones.

The Jat agitation in Haryana claimed several lives including the loss of around Rs 20, 000 crores. (KNN Bureau)
