Facebook to train SMEs in UP to use platform to boost biz; UP CM assures all possible help

Lucknow, Feb 8 (KNN) Facebook is organizing a 'Boost Your Business Initiative' programme in five districts of the state to train the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to use Facebook to boost their businesses.
Under this initiative, the Facebook aims at training, through its employees, small and medium scale businessmen in India to expand their customer base for products and marketing of their services.
In this context, UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has issues instructions to extend all possible help for the programme.
The programme would be held in Kannauj, Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi and Lucknow between February 11 and March 11, 2016.
These micro and medium entrepreneurs will be trained to maintain a long lasting relationship with their clients. The programme will begin from Kannauj and conclude in Lucknow district.
According to a government spokesperson, the state government will extend all possible administrative assistance so that more and more businessmen are benefited out of the event.
On major points of the programme, participation of small and medium scale businessmen associations would also be facilitated and a nodal officer would be nominated in every district to make the programme a success. (KNN Bureau)
