Jammu entrepreneurs seek help from police officials over traffic mess at Bari Brahmana

Jammu, Feb 9 (KNN) The city based small entrepreneurs have to struggle for hours in the traffic to reach the Bari Brahmana Industrial Area. BBIA has discussed the issue with the senior police officials of Jammu and have sought for immediate intervention to resolve their problem.

Joginder Singh (KPS), Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba; Faisal Qureshi, Superintendent of Police along with officers of J&K Police & Traffic Police Department visited Bari Brahmana Industrial Complex on Monday.

Lalit Mahajan, President of BBIA highlighted various issue related to the industrial Sector which need his immediate attention to resolve the same on priority basis.

During the course of discussions the major issue related to the massive traffic jam reported in the evening hours at Sidco Chowk at Bari Brahmana was discussed in detail, said the association.

“There is massive traffic jam at the entrance of BBIA during the evening hours. It takes hours for the mess to get cleared,” Mahajan said adding that even the trucks carrying goods are badly stuck in the jams and gets delayed due to the traffic jams.

While interacting with BBIA Members, Senior Superintendent of Police assured the members that all possible steps shall be taken for solving the various issues which were highlighted by the President.

Meanwhile, the association said that the crime rate in the city is quite low and on this front the entrepreneurs are not facing any issue.

Further, as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility, the entrepreneurs from BBIA have adopted several schools and regularly donate the items of need to the kids, said Mahajan. (KNN Bureau)
