Ranchi, July 13 (KNN) With an objective to promote industrial activity in the State and establish Jharkhand as one of the prime investment destinations of Eastern India, Government of Jharkhand is organizing a Global Investor Summit.

The Summit would be organized in the state capital on on 16th-17th February 2017 in partnership with industry body CII.

In this regard, a roadshow is being held in Bengaluru on July 19 during which Chief Minister of Jharkhand Raghubar Das along Chief and other senior officials would interact with the industry there.

It is taking a step forward, to showcase and deliberate various investment opportunities and key business reforms carried out in the recent past, said the organizers.

Companies in India are now keen on capitalizing the growth opportunities emanating from various reforms and incentives being provided by Central and State Governments, the organizers added.

Jharkhand is currently ranked third by World Bank report in terms of Ease of Doing Business in the country.

Government of Jharkhand is undertaking all efforts to reach out to potential investors to initiate a dialogue on their expansion or investment plans and apprise about the advantages and benefits of investing in Jharkhand. (KNN/FA)
