Kolkata MSME exporters to interact with FIEO expert

Kolkata, Apr 5 (KNN) At a time when the entire export sector is witnessing a slowdown, the city based MSME exporters are holding an interactive session with an expert from Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO) on exports.

P T Srinath, Joint Director, FIEO, Eastern Region would address the members of Federation of Small & Medium Industries (FOSMI) on export on April 8, 2016.

​India’s export has been witnessing fall since last 15 months. Exports shrank 5.66% in February and imports contracted 5.03%, leaving a trade deficit of $6.5 billion. In April-February, India’s exports contracted 16.7% to $238.4 billion and imports shrank 14.7% to $351.8 billion, leaving a trade deficit of $113.4 billion. (KNN Bureau)
