Mysore, Feb 19 (KNN) Karnataka government will provide loans at 4 per cent interest rate up to Rs 50 lakh to women entrepreneurs for setting up manufacturing, service or profession enterprise.

The loan would be given through Karnataka State Finance Corporation (KSFC) with the financial assistance of Karnataka State Women Development (KSWD), Mysuru Industries Association (MIA) said in a release.

The benefits would also be given to women entrepreneurs willing for expansion, modernization, diversification of their existing units.

In addition to this, Department of Industries will provide subsidy up of 20-25 per cent on fixed Assets and 5 per cent reservation in sanctioning of Industrial sites and sheds.

MIA has welcomed the move and said it’s a good initiative by the Siddaramaiah led Karnataka Government. (KNN Bureau)
