Mysuru, June 2 (KNN) Karnataka Minister for Large & Medium Industries R V Deshpande and MLA Vasu met the MSME delegate visiting the DRUPA Fair in Germany and asked them to take full advantage of the visit.

Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) Council and Mysuru Printers Cluster is leading a team of 25 members' delegation of Printers and Industrialists to Dusseldorf, Germany to participate in DRUPA Fair.

DRUPA is an International Print, Packaging and Media Exhibition which is held once in four years. This year’s expo is scheduled to be held from May 31 to June 10, 2016.

Deshpande asked the entrepreneurs to take full advantage of the expo and adopt the same practices and techniques in Mysore Printers Cluster.   

To encourage and promote business development & Technology upgradation in the sector of printing industry, the Government of India and Government of Karnataka has extended a subsidy up to 75 per cent of the air-fare in economy class to the DRUPA participants, Mysuru Industries Association had earlier said in a release.

Besides attending the expo, the participants will be taken to tourist places like Frankfurt, Cologne, Netherlands, Belgium, Paris, Switzerland, Italy, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Rome and Vatican City. (KNN Bureau)
